Living Things to Pen and Paper

As a young child,

I loved to study the tiniest bugs to the largest beasts.

With my curious mind,

I discovered the secrets of biology

and the complexity that never ceased.

But as I grew older,

my true passions formed.

I found peace while reading and writing.

I was drawn to the human emotion found in books.

As my interests started to change, my heart did too.

The realization came to me

that life and literature

were one and the same.

With my love for both science and art,

my dedication to knowledge

could lead me anywhere.
