Imagination can lead to betrayal 

I see so much in you but your glares reflect nothing. 

At this point I realized that you never really cared about me. 

Don't worry I now understand that I was guilty, 

for imagining a future that ended up so demeaning. 

You could have warned me though, 

before making me think of you with every song. 

I should've known all those fake promises that you made on our nights of fake love. Which tragically, remained tattooed in my heart; 

Beating every time i trusted you, 

but shrinking every time it understood 

that you were not the same as the one created in my mind.
