Regret

Stars set reminders

That the sky can change

Even in the darkest times

We’re confused by our rage

Let life be a lesson

That humans are stray

Today is a second

But tomorrow is a day

May

They say only time heals us

I must disagree

I’m still as brokenhearted

As I was at three

Mistakes can ruin the both of us

To the point it’s a dream

I’m praying the alarm sets fire

Baby crows

Is it strange to love baby crows?

Or is it what they represent?

Demeter loved her daughter

And hell - there she went.

Unfortunately, it’s a metaphor

And life is a stream of more

A place where crows will soar

Where love is a strange allure.

Release It’s deadly scream

What am I missing?

What will you take away?

Let me tell you the story

The one that starts in May.

My grave

Words poisoned by confidence

     Bare the truths I’m afraid

They don’t help the situation

     Only make it more grave
