Beach Read: I Killed Zoe Spanos

For everyone trying to find the perfect beachside read this summer, I Killed Zoe Spanos by Kit Frick is definitely worth looking into. This fast-paced thriller takes place in Herron Mills, Long Island and follows a high school student, Anna, in her experiences nannying for a family who spends the summers there. Despite never being there before, she is constantly mistaken for a girl who had gone missing months before. Anna, determined to reach the bottom of this mystery, gets wrapped up in trouble. This novel constantly switches from past to present, which leaves you to wonder how and why things ended up how they did. Constant twists and turns that come together to fill in the gaps of this story make it a page-turner that will keep you on your toes.
