Uniquely Youth Film Festival
Calling all young filmmakers!
Join us in The Gaia’s Zine’s very first Uniquely Youth Film Festival!
Do you have something to say? Have you been turned down from festivals because of your age? Do you just simply want to get your work out there?
Then Uniquely Youth is the film festival for you!
The Uniquely Youth Film Festival (August 24, 7 pm EST) will be a hosted 60-minute live-virtual screening followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers as part of the Queens World Film Festival Wednesday Nights @7 series.
All accepted shorts will become available on The Gaia Zine's website and YouTube channel alongside filmmaker interviews on August 27, 2022.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All submissions must be no longer than 5 minutes long. Filmmakers must be under 25 years old at the time of submission. Please submit an accessible link. All genres are welcome and encouraged.
SELECTION
All filmmakers will be notified via FilmFreeway of our decision by July 10th. Not all accepted films will be selected for the live screening. Films that are not selected for the live screening will be given the opportunity to be featured on The Gaia Zine’s website and social media pages.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By submitting material to The Gaia Zine’s Uniquely Youth Film Festival you and all others associated with the submission attest to the possession of all the rights to all images, sound, music, interviews, promotional materials, third party images, and all other materials involved in the film and the promotion of the film. If your film is accepted, then you attest to the right for the Festival to use any portion of the film in promotion of the Festival in all media in perpetuity.
