The Handicapped Street Boy

The Handicapped Street Boy

The boy down the street

Who never leaves his seat

The seat on two wheels

That keep running to the hills

Just so he could see

That sun set over the sea

He wants to run like the wind

That sways the tall pine trees

And blows on his cold knees

He paddles on his two wheels

Fast down the creek of the dark hills

Back to the safety behind the tin bins

His favorite time of day

Before on his mat he lay

Pouring the words of pray

To ease his painful stay

Before he goes away

He prays he goes away
