The Illusions Of Life
Farewell Love
What if we didn't love?
Just for one day.
Would we finally be happy?
Living as portrayed -
Life in Milligrams
Don't let life consume you -
You'll come out a rusty nail.
No longer chasing a view -
Instead, pulling back the veil.
Consume life in great quantities -
Wait Until June
Our little lives are like books,
Flipping to a new chapter.
Taking down my rook,
Only knowing after.
The conclusion comes soon-
But it's an illusion.
Just wait until June -
Maybe - the resolution?
Ten times a day.
Get rid of stupid policies -
Come on, seize the day.
Detachment
Like the apple from its tree,
I'm detached to a degree.
Thoughts linger into one,
I'm not trying to shun -
Just a bit overdone.
My demise
A monument of salt,
Crusted at my eyes.
Remnants of my past -
Oh, my sweet demise.
Blue lines of agony,
Marking my skin.
Breaking the anatomy -
Where to begin?
A Gamble
Hello and Goodbye,
I say this with grace.
I'm no longer here,
But this is my trace.
The life I led
Was a textbook example:
Fantastically dull,
Quite like a gamble.
For you, whenever -
I leave you this:
My words, on paper,
A shamble, a miss.
